Oven Cleaning Devon - Some FAQ
We've noticed a few questions often crop up when people contact us to book their oven or AGA in for a clean, so we thought we would list some of the most common with the answers here - if you have any other questions though, do please contact us on 01884 821238 and we'd be delighted to help.
1. How long does it take?
From about an hour and a half for a single oven, to three or four for an AGA We normally allow 2 to 2.5 for a standard double oven. But no matter how long it takes, we stay until we are satisfied that the job is complete and done well.
2. Are there any extra charges?
No, the price we quote is the price you pay. It doesn't matter if it does take longer than the standard time, we charge for the job not by the minute. We will charge for extras such as light bulbs or liners if a customer asks us to supply them, but otherwise all materials and labour are include in the price quoted.
3. Can you clean self cleaning ovens?
In a word, yes. All ovens get dirty and need cleaning and we find "self cleaning" to be a bit of a misnomer in domestic ovens. We don't use our paste on the self cleaning liners, but we will clean them, and if they are removable, we will take them out and clean behind them.
4. Do you protect the floor?
Yes, we put down protective sheets prior to starting the clean to protect the floor and catch any dirt that may fall down during the cleaning process. We also thoroughly clean up around the area once the oven clean is finished.
5. What forms of payment do you take? Currently we accept cash, cheque or BACS payment.
